I purchased a 2022 road glide limited cvo from them on 4/16/22 and had a great experience even though bike week was beginning and they were swamped everything went smooth and fast,and they called me in 3 days to say they had my license plate already!...best of all they beat a middle va dealers price by around $1500.00 .it was almost a 2hr ride but worth it!! all the staff were great!!

Thank you OBX Harley. You got me riding on my dream bike in just a few hours. I love my 2019 Street Glide. When another dealer gave me the run around you came in and saved the day. I felt like family not just another customer. Not only during the sale but before and after as well. The communication was excellent you were straight up and didn't play games. You treated me with respect and dignity. I didn't just buy a bike i bought a lifestyle. That is how it seemed. Anyone can sell a bike but not everyone can provide the best customer service. We had a great experience at OBHD, we were driving past after visiting my parents on Ocracoke, I actually past the shop and had to back down the side of the road. We met an employee in the lot, Im terrible with names though he was very personable. They stayed open a little later for us and he walked my wife around and was showing her some apparel and talking to her. All said and done, my wife, the anti-biker, came home and we went to our local dealership and she scheduled a dot safety class in April, never thought that a quick stop in a harley dealership would ever change her mind, many thanks to the salesman with the handlebar mustache!

Had my bike serviced for a broken throttle cable and was repaired during the week of Thanksgiving. When I went to pick the bike up it had been washed and detailed. The bike hasn't looked that good since it was new so I want to than every one in the service department for the excellent treatment I received. Respectfully, Coley Motes OBX HOG Member

Bought a new 2016 Ultra Limited while at Outerbanks Bike Week. Gordon was fantastic and got a great deal on the bike and a fantastic trade in value on my 2010 Ultra Classic. I wanted to purchase several accessories and nothing I wanted was in stock. I ended up buying my accessories from their sister Store Baydide Harley Davidson. Their prep of the bike after the sale and prior to delivery was disappointing. The air shocks had 0 PSI and both tires were under inflated. Front tire 26 PSI and rear tire 30 PSI. Recommended pressures should have been 36 PSI Front and 40 PSI rear.

My experience with the Outer Banks Harley Davidson DealerI recently visited the Harley Davidson dealership located in the Outer Banks of North Carolina.What prompted my visit was I found myself dispatched to nearby Southern Shores to attend to an emergency water line break that has occurred in an unoccupied rental property that my sister owns; thus I had to leave my home located in Virginia on very short notice. Just three days before my journey, I had purchased a 2001 FXDL and I decided it was a good opportunity for an extended putt -just to see what my newest ride would do.
The FXDL had very little capacity for storage (namely bungee cords which strapped my gear to the pillion pad) and so I donned my heaviest motorcycle jacket (being late October) and hit the road with the bare minimum of provisions for the trip.Needless to say it was quite cold and windy on the way down to the Outer Banks. My sister had told me that there was a Harley dealer in OBX, so when I arrived in town, that was the first stop on my list of things to do so that I could acquire additional gear. Since the bike is my only mode of transportation locally, I needed to get outfitted for my own safety, comfort and peace of mind.As I walked through the front door of the dealership, I received a warm welcome by Heather who manages the clothing and accessories department. Next, I was introduced to one of the motorcycle salesman, Jeff. He could tell I was quite cold from my trip and offered to make me a fresh pot of coffee (how did he know that I was a coffee addict). We discussed my situation and he directed my to the various departments in order to procure needed provisions for my indeterminate length of stay in the Outer Banks.First up, I headed to the clothing department where Heather and I discussed my situation. She was quite knowledgeable about the clothing stock on hand as well as what types of clothing that would be appropriate for the anticipated local weather for this time of year. She also put in a special order a my favorite hat that I lost on the trip down as it went flying off the back of my bike. I related to Heather that over the years, this was the fourth hat that I had lost and that I was being punished by the Harley Gods.Next we headed over to the parts department where I asked the parts guys, Ron and Don about the availability of a quick release windshield. They scoured the stockroom and were ready to place special order, when lo and behold the windshield that fits my bike was located in house!They walked me over to the shop and introduced me to Harold, the senior technician who dropped what he was doing in order to install my newly purchased windshield. There was a conflict on my bike with the fittings that come with the windshield and rather than compromise the integrity of the front suspension, Harold recommended a fix; that I should install a part that would extend the bracket to the front turn signals. His knowledge of proper fitment as well as that an extension bracket was manufactured by Harley Davidson for just this situation was quite impressive. The parts department ordered the bracket and advised that the part would be there within two days (which it was) and once again, Harold dropped what he was doing in order to install my new windshield.
Finally, I was introduced to Jamie, the Manager of this dealership. I told him that in my experience with the many Harley Davidson dealerships across the country and overseas that his shop was the most impressive and he was very fortunate to have assembled a team of staff members that were highly professional and obviously took great pride in their work. Since my arrival to the Outer Banks, I have returned to the shop for additional gear and was again and again provided courteous service and great advice. Outer Banks Harley Davidson is THE BEST! Excellent staff, great selection and superior customer service. If you're looking for a new or used Harley, Jamie Seymour or Jeff Ward is who you should be dealing with. If you want to customize your bike with quality Harley Davidson parts or accessories stop in and talk to Wheels. For motorclothes or anything else Harley, you've got to go see Heather! If you're not shopping with these fine folks, you are missing out! Stopping in at Outer Banks Harley Davidson is like visiting home. So, saddle up and ride out. You'll be glad you did!!

In town on vacation over the Fourth of July week. Had charging issues with my 2012 Dyna Switchback. The service department diagnosed a bad battery. No battery was in stock but Alex in the service department offered to take the the new battery from his bike to get us going again. I really thank everyone for getting us back on the road.

My boyfriend and I were there for bike week and we stopped into the dealership to check out the vendors. When we pulled into the parking lot, we saw "the bike" that we just had to have! With the assistance of the salesman, the sales manager and Barb, we are now the proud owners of a 2007 Ultra Classic Harley Davidson. Came for 2 days for bike week. My bike broke down Saturday, 04/21. During the craziness of bike week your service dept treated me as if I was the only bike in town. They did everything they could to get the parts and make me and my bike a priority. Helped me with towing and always kept me informed. I am now back on the road thanks to the wonderful people in your service dept! You guys will always be our favorite stop on our way down the coast. Can't thank you enough!!!!

OBX, although operated with Bayside, is in a class by itself, the customer service, service department , parts and clothing departments are second to none. Even when issues arise, all employees and management do evetrything they can to make it right and smooth, with out hesitation. dealer for life, wish that other HD dealers would model their customer satisfaction practices and ethics after OBX HD.

We purchased a helmet strap quick release buckle for my wifes helmet. The girl at the counter, Azura, put it on for us. It was quite difficult and she worked patiently and tirelessly while helping other customers and answering the phone. We would have never gotten it installed without her help. Thank you Azura and thank you Outer Banks H-D for have such a great staff!!
